Visit South America – Promotional videos for travel provider
Our client’s requirements:
Visit South America wanted a video that would showcase the variety of their tours and the different adventures in South America in an exciting and emotional way. The content needed to work well on social media as well as other platforms. A landscape video for the website needed to reflect as many facets of the continent and the travel components as possible, so that viewers could see a broad spectrum of the experiences on offer.
Our solution:
To fulfil this requirement, we wanted to create a video that would showcase the variety of tours and adventures that each destination offers in a visually appealing way. The aim was to evoke a passion for South America in a captivating clip that was, above all, emotionally appealing. In particular, we wanted to reach people at the highest level of awareness who had not even considered South America as a travel destination and convince them directly with impressive scenes. To achieve this, we filmed in four countries in South America and accompanied various tours on film.
We developed an emotional video that plays with different tempos and visual styles. The slow, breathtaking landscape shots of South America – from the vast Andes to Machu Picchu and the salt flats to the Amazon – conveyed the feeling of vastness and untouched nature. These scenes were visually powerful, created the desired WOW effect and gave the viewer a first impression of the impressive nature of South America.
In contrast, we used fast-paced, action-packed scenes that reflected the adventure and diversity of the tours: From hikes to exciting activities such as sandboarding and wildlife spotting. These scenes made the audience feel like they were really part of the journey. Playing with the different tempos helped to show the wide range of tours and emphasise the variety of experiences.
The results:
Various videos that were perfect for quick, exciting social media posts as well as for the comprehensive presentation of the offer on other platforms. The videos conveyed the diversity of South America and the sense of adventure that every traveller can experience on a tour.
