Enjoythewood – Handmade wooden world maps for travellers
Our client’s requirements:
Enjoythewood wanted a social media video that captured the emotional value of the product, handmade wooden world maps. They wanted a visual representation of the moment when a customer receives the world map, unpacks the puzzle pieces, and hangs them up. The goal was to convey the joy and sense of personal discovery associated with unboxing and hanging the map.
Our solution:
We developed a creative concept that staged the unboxing process as an emotional experience. Instead of a classic product video, we opted for a UGC-inspired approach in which we put the customer’s joy directly in the foreground. This not only promotes authenticity but also reinforces the feeling that the customer becomes part of the story.
However, we also wanted to add a creative twist. We chose “flying” puzzle pieces as a special effect. In the scene, the pieces of the world map seem to literally float in the air and fly to their place on the wall. This effect mainly created visual tension and scroll-stopping. Apart from that, the video needed to look as authentic as possible and emphasize the shared moment of puzzling as part of the product experience.
The results:
A video that combines a visual hook and emotional connection with a creative touch. It was used on social media to strengthen brand loyalty among existing customers who see the world maps as personal mementos of their travels. But the video also appealed to new customers looking for unique experiences or special gifts for travelers. In addition, we produced extensive UGC photo material for the client’s social ads.
